Stormy Banyan strives to be a place to find a musicians favourite accessories that not only offer functionality and style, but also a sense of ones own personality, knowing your unique item is the only one like it. Stormy Banyan is a PayPal friendly store and that is the preferred payment method. With that being said, I am always willing to work with the buyer to accommodate their specific situations, so please feel free to contact me if you need to pay in another form. If you purchase an item and I do not receive payment or communication within 10 days, I will have to re-list the item. I will start making a made to order item or ship a pre-made item, once payment is received. The faster I receive payment, the faster your item will be completed, checked for excellence, and on it's way to become your new favourite obsession!

Please allow two weeks in addition to shipping time for the hand made love to take place, though orders are usually finished much faster. In fact, Stormy Banyan is known for shipping out an item the same day or next day payment for an order is received! I will ship first class mail unless otherwise specified by the buyer. Please specify if you are looking to have your item by a certain date so we can arrange for your optimal happiness! A tracking number will be issued to you so you can easily track your item.

Stormy Banyan always strives to ensure your optimal happiness, so of course refunds are offered! Once you receive your item, if you are unsatisfied with your purchase you have 40 days to contact me to inform me of your dissatisfaction. Refunds are handled by an item by item basis, but the general procedure is the customer sends the item back to me and receives a full refund(including the cost of shipping to return the item). There is also the option to receive store credit in which your shipping costs are also refunded. Exchanges are also accepted here at Stormy Banyan! If you wish to exchange your item, you may contact me within 30 days of recieving your item and ship the item back to me. After inspection of the returned item, you will be given store credit to use towards your new purchase. Stormy Banyan has the right to refuse an item if damaged or not in the same or near condition it was sent in. In which case the customer will be informed and chose to keep the item or only receive no refunds. This is a very rare case scenario and I am not picky in the condition of the item when returned, but if there are notable problems that were not present when the item was shipped I will discuss with the customer. Leather Goods- I seal all of my leather goods with a leather balm that makes them last a life time. The leather will naturally grow softer and darker in colour over time and with use to become an old friend. If there is a need to touch up on the stitching or another aspect, the buyer can contact me and I will perform the services needed at the cost of the customer. The cost will be determined by materials needed, magnitude of touch up and shipping costs. All will be discussed with the customer before they decide if they want to send the item and another re-evaluation cost will be issued once I receive the item, usually lower than assumed. Costs will be discussed once again and if decided, I will touch up the item and send it back to the customer. Abalone Guitar Picks- Because of the delicate nature of the shell, there is no guarantee that these picks will not break under considerable wear and playing. If your pick breaks then I cannot give you a refund(past the 40 day window) because of the nature of the material. I have never had a case where a pick has broken, even after years of playing with it, but I am aware it can happen. If there is flaking of the shell, you can send me pictures and I can determine if it can be re-polished to its original glowing beauty and re-finished with a mineral oil and beeswax sealant. I am always willing to work with the buyer so please do not hold back on sending me a message with any questions regarding your purchased item or inquires on items in my store.

Custom orders are not only welcome, but highly embraced! Whether you wish to have me execute an idea of yours on one of my already present designs or you wish for me to start from scratch with you, all is welcome! The general procedure for custom orders is as follows: -Customer contacts me with an email containing a brief description of what they want along with their price range. -Upon receiving, I will respond to the customer clarifying their ideas, informing them what I can and cannot do, and include an expected price. -If the customer decides they would like to proceed, I will make a listing for them with previously discussed price and upon customer purchase, we will continue the process. The price is subject to change, but the customer will always be informed of such changes. -General procedure from this point includes further discussion and clarification on the customers wishes, the customer may draw up a quick sketch and scan it into their computer and email it to me, send me clarifying pictures of colours, shapes, and designs they have found, and I will begin work on their one of a kind item. I will send pictures each step of the way to ensure customer satisfaction. Orders will be taken by a case by case basis and previous statements are subject to change, the customer will always be informed of such changes.
