Melting Time has been created for useful purposes as well as a reminder of taking time for one's self.
It is a tribute to the Persistance of Memories painting by Dali. This 7 inch wide brim has been left with a bit of raw edge to complete the melting effect. It's made of raw sisal for cool comfort. The fun trim numbers are flocked. Small black beads circle the crown, and a painted twisted twig add abstract beauty. The melting clock was created from film / stage production sculpting medium, with flocked numbers and painted, broken, wooden veggie skewers for hands. A set of small silver beads create the top winder of the clock at the tip of the crown.
This unlined hat fits a 22.5 - 23 head size.
